Bluegreen delivered two 55 m³ PE tanks, custom-built to specifications, to NEL's hydrogen plant at Herøya. The tanks were transported by both sea and land, with careful planning to ensure efficient transport and installation.
The customer ordered two 55 m³ PE tanks for purified process water for their hydrogen plant at Herøya, Porsgrunn.
The tanks were built at our workshop in Bamble using butt welding and extrusion welding, tailored to the customer's specifications.
The large tanks were transported by sea on a crane barge from Ineos Bamble by Yara Shipping. Kranringen then transported them from Yara Shipping to NEL Herøya through the Herøya Industrial Park. Finally, two crane trucks from Kranringen were used to rotate the tanks for installation in the building.
