Bluegreen has produced and delivered 522 PE concrete penetrations to Pure Salmon’s new land-based aquaculture facility in Japan. The facility will be one of the country’s largest RAS-based production plants for Atlantic salmon and represents a major investment in developing sustainable food production in the region.
The penetrations form part of the facility’s critical infrastructure for water intake and process flow and have been manufactured to strict requirements for precision, documentation, and traceability. Dimensions range from Ø63 to Ø900, placing high demands on both material quality and efficient production logistics.
The scope of work covered the entire process, from production and quality control to preparation and packaging for sea transport to Japan. In total, 1,930 man-hours were invested in the project.
The delivery is a strong example of Bluegreen’s ability to combine industrial capacity with tailored solutions—and to act as a reliable partner in complex international aquaculture projects.
