Bluegreen is welding and installing water and wastewater infrastructure for Gassveien, a 3.9 km stretch in Bamble municipality. The project includes welding 180–800 mm PE pipes using state-of-the-art McElroy welding machines.
Hæhre won the contract for the construction of Gassveien, a 3.9 km stretch of County Road 353 between Rugtvedt and Surtebogen in Bamble municipality.
The project includes blasting/earthmoving, road construction, water and wastewater infrastructure (VA), electrical work, and structural elements. As part of the project, a new water pipeline will be established for Bamble municipality along the stretch.
We have been engaged by Isaksen Hæhre, a subsidiary of Hæhre, to weld the water pipeline. The VA pipes we are welding range in dimensions from 180 to 800 mm. The project includes pipes for water, wastewater, and stormwater, as well as conduit pipes where necessary.
Our plastic workshop welds and supplies all pipe components such as bends and branch pipes. This is a major advantage for both us and the client. We are using state-of-the-art McElroy welding equipment for this project.
Gassveien is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2026.
