Aquaculture Awards celebrates projects, companies or individuals making an outstanding contribution to the global aquaculture industry.
Aquaculture Awards is an annual event with 14 awards this year, including rising stars, long-term heroes, most forward-thinking companies, and game-changing innovations in aquaculture. The goal is to recognize hard work and high standards that contribute to driving the industry forward.
Cheri Arvonio, awards director, said in a press release: “The Aquaculture Awards have become a highlight in the sector’s calendar, providing an opportunity for aquaculture people to champion their peers, as well as being a great excuse for everyone to get together.
Companies from all over the world are welcome to participate, and we are incredibly proud that Bluegreen is one of three finalists in the Innovation category, nominated for our closed-containment system, Marine Donut:

The jury consists of seven members, all with a solid background within aquaculture - either as a researcher, leader, or communicator, including Norwegian Ingrid Olesen, senior researcher at Nofima.
