Fishglobe Technologies chose Bluegreen as a collaboration partner for the design and construction of two floating closed containment systems, 3.5K and 10K.
FishGlobe NEOM consists of two floating closed containment aquaculture units, 3.5K and 10K. The 3.5K unit has a total weight of 170 tonnes and a diameter of more than 22 metres. The 10K unit has a total weight of 290 tonnes and a diameter of more than 32 metres.
FishGlobe features a unique patented technology that eliminates challenges related to sea lice, escapes, and waste emissions. The units are built from 100% recyclable polyethylene and are highly resistant to corrosion.
Fishglobe Technologies selected Bluegreen as its collaboration partner for the development of the design and construction of the project.
Through the design and collaboration phase, Bluegreen contributed to reducing the material volume of the project by 30% compared to the previous design, while also delivering robust and efficient technical solutions for the customer.
