Bluegreen has become a leading player in plastic fusion and prefabrication. With high precision and customized solutions, the company delivers tailor-made products for industry, infrastructure and aquaculture.
"We have both the expertise and the capacity to provide robust solutions in thermoplastics, says Robin Kvilaas, workshop manager at Bluegreen.
At Bluegreen’s state-of-the-art plastic workshop, everything from prefabricated pipe components to complex thermoplastic structures is produced.
"We can manufacture both small and large products, whether it’s prefabrication or custom design," explains Kvilaas.
Bluegreen’s flexibility allows the company to deliver products tailored to customers’ unique needs, whether it concerns pipe installations, tanks, or structural components.
One of Bluegreen’s specialties is the production of HDPE manholes, which stand out due to their long lifespan and high durability.
"Traditional manholes often suffer from leaks, while our HDPE manholes are maintenance-free and guaranteed to remain sealed for 100 years," says Kvilaas.
These solutions have been delivered to numerous municipal projects, where they contribute to improved water and wastewater infrastructure.
“ We are very satisfied with Bluegreen as a supplier of pipe installations and HDPE manholes. We have used them on many projects, and they are fast, flexible, and highly skilled professionals. Ingvild Rydland, Project Manager, Project Department, Porsgrunn Municipality
Recently, Bluegreen delivered custom-built HDPE tanks for process water to NEL’s hydrogen factory at Herøya. The tanks were designed to meet strict requirements and were transported through a meticulously planned logistics process.
"This is an example of how we tailor our solutions for demanding industrial projects," says Kristoffer Rønning, estimator at Bluegreen.

Process piping are another segment where Bluegreen’s expertise in thermoplastics is in high demand.
"When the liquid in the pipe is corrosive, thermoplastics should be the obvious choice," explains Rønning. "This applies to seawater or process water containing aggressive chemicals."
Thermoplastics are also lighter and more cost-effective than stainless steel, which has traditionally been the industry’s preferred choice.
"We provide complete solutions for the industry: pipes, fittings, and installation of underground pipes, subsea pipelines, and process pipes within the facility."

With the increasing demand for sustainable and reliable solutions, Bluegreen continues to grow.
– We are ready for new challenges and look forward to delivering even more customized solutions to our customers, conclude Rønningen and Kvilaas.
