Another year is coming to an end – our fourth full year of operations. It would be wrong to say the year has been all highs, but fortunately, there have been a lot more ups than downs. Here are some selected highlights.
Marie Hegge Olsen (18) from Stathelle is a new apprentice at Bluegreen and is well on her way to mastering the trade of plastic mechanics. She started her apprenticeship in August and has already tackled exciting projects while enjoying positive experiences within the company.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager with strong project management skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
We love plastic welding, but we realize it’s a specialized field. That's why we train apprentices and hire people with other technical certifications, teaching them the art of plastic fabrication. Part of this training takes place during welding courses.
A record number of people applied to our vacant positions as plastic welders. This resulted in seven hires, and now four of them are in place.
While large companies like Equinor and Kongsberg Gruppen top the list of the most popular companies among newly graduated masters of engineering, Frikk Knutsen chose Bluegreen instead.
We are in a strong growth phase, with a full order book for several years ahead. To ensure that our growth is profitable, we need a strong and competent CFO. Perhaps that's you?
Guro Eilefsen is an apprentice in the field of plastic mechanics here at Bluegreen. The cheerful 23-year-old from Drangedal studied to be a school teacher for 1.5 years before she decided that a physical job suited her better.
Bluegreen is gearing up for big endeavors (literally!), and we're on the lookout for more talented individuals to join our team! Currently, we're in need of skilled plastic technicians, as well as craftsmen in carpentry, metal fabrication, industrial plumbing, and industrial mechanics.
After a few years at Røra in Skien, we have now moved our plastic workshop to the main office in Bamble. This makes the commute short, both up to the office and down to the construction site by Frierfjorden.
Ida Nilsen was our first apprentice. Now, just two years later, she is a foreman with operational responsibility for up to 12 skilled workers. "I love making projects run smoothly," she says.
As one of Norway's leading companies in thermoplastics, we feel a special responsibility to ensure the education of competent workforce. Now, our fourth apprentice is in place.
There is a great need for more skilled workers in Norwegian industry, and Bluegreen is unfortunately no exception. We are growing quickly and plastic mechanic is a subject with low awareness. A good collaboration with NAV gives us access to candidates.
Sondre Thorsen leaves Veidekke to join Bluegreen as our COO: I am looking forward to working in a company with ambitions and speed.
In order to realize the ground-breaking closed fish farm Marine Donut, we are strengthening our project management team. It is a pleasure to welcome Henrik Thorstensen to us!
This summer we have recruited two new employees to work on engineering, project and administration in Bluegreen.
We are growing and need to strengthen our team with more talent! We are looking for both skilled workers and engineers. Application deadline 24.4.

In Bluegreen we are alway on the look out for talented people. So when Bjørn, Jan Egil and Kim Andre knocked on our door this autumn, we did not hesitate to say "Welcome to us!".
To deliver great projects, we depend on skilled people. Plastic mechanic has low awareness, and there is unfortunately little knowledge about thermoplastics in the vocational schools. It is therefore absolutely crucial for us to offer apprenticeship to ensure access to competent workers.
